The New York Times Spelling Bee has two Spelling Bee pangrams today. The pangrams are COMBATANT and NONCOMBATANT.

COMBATANT means someone who fights (or is fighting). It is also defined as engaging in or ready for combat.

NONCOMBATANT means a member of the armed forces who does not participate in combat (e.g. a chaplain or surgeon). It is also defined as member of armed forces whose duties do not include fighting as e.g. a chaplain or surgeon. It is also defined as used of civilians in time of war.
