    Since when is ‘anklebone’ one word? It would be ankle bone and your definition is very non specific – what most people think of as the ankle bone the the lateral malleolus of the fibula which articulates with the calcaneus to form that outer portion of the ankle. While the medial malleolus of the tibia articulates with the talus to form the inside of the ankle. All this to say ‘anklebone’ isn’t a word, just like ‘legbone’ or ‘elbowbone’ or ‘armbone’ are not words.
