The New York Times Spelling Bee has two Spelling Bee pangrams today. The pangrams are CHECKMATE and MATCHMAKE.

CHECKMATE means a chess move constituting an inescapable and indefensible attack on the opponent’s king. It is also defined as place an opponent’s king under an attack from which it cannot escape and thus ending the game. It is also defined as complete victory.
